Men’s belts
Did you know that the men’s belt began to be used by gentlemen relatively recently? Before that, it gave way to suspenders – they were the ones that held up the trousers, ensuring freedom of movement. Today, however, the men’s leather belt is the absolute essence of fashionable style, both casual and business. For this, suspenders have gone somewhat into oblivion and are now more of an unconventional decoration than a practical accessory.
One thing is certain: whether you wear chinos, suit trousers or jeans with rips – a men’s trouser belt is a must-have for your styling.
Men’s belts – functionality is not everything
Although the primary function of a men’s belt is to hold up your trousers, this is not its only function. It is also (or perhaps above all) an accessory that defines your style.
Men’s trouser belts – which one to choose?
Not sure which men’s belt will best suit your styling? Before you make your choice, check:
- width – a belt about 3.5 cm wide is best for classic business trousers, a wider one – 4 cm wide – for jeans, and for chinos you can choose a narrower version of the accessory described here;
- buckle design – minimalist and modern, narrow and classic, or maybe vintage?
- the finish of the belt’s holes – more pronounced hardware fits everyday style and matches, for example, jeans and a motorcycle jacket;
- the color – the most classic belts are black and brown, but you can go beyond the scheme and bet on a model in a different shade.
Remember also that men’s belts are available in several sizes – find the one that optimally fits the width of your belt. You can easily find a model to suit your needs and expectations in the OCHNIK collection.
