Wondering which OCHNIK wheeled suitcase model to choose? Start by choosing the right size. There are both 28" travel suitcases waiting for you, ideal for long, distant trips, during which you will need a lot of space for luggage, as well as 24" medium suitcases and smaller -14-16", optimal as carry-on luggage for airplanes. If you are not sure what size suitcase will work best for you, and you need several pieces of luggage, opt for a set. Suitcase sets are also a frequent choice of traveling families - luggage of similar design is easier to identify, for example, at the airport conveyor belt.
In addition to size, such parameters as the material of construction (solid PC, lightweight ABS, or maybe soft polyester?) and design are also important. Match the color scheme and style of the suitcase to your personality. If you have any doubts about which suitcase to choose, the OCHNIK team is here to help you make the right decision.
What is ABS material?
ABS is one of the most popular and hardest materials used to make suitcases. The material is very affordable. The high level of hardness of the material is associated with a lack of flexibility, and therefore the risk of breakage. The material is also prone to scratching. ABS suitcases are more recommended as carry-on luggage, i.e. the kind of luggage you take with you on a plane. ABS suitcases are ideal for car travel.
What is a TSA lock?
TSA (Travel Sentry Approved) combination lock - essential for travelers to Japan, Australia, the US and Canada, where the law allows officers to check the luggage in question. Customs officers have keys, allowing them to carry out a non-invasive inspection of the contents, if the suitcase does not have a TSA lock, they will most often cut through the luggage, disregarding the damage.
A combination lock is a good way to protect luggage from theft, so for suitcases that do not have a built-in lock, it is worth getting an additional padlock.
